Denture is the alternative after the removal of teeth with its relative tissues.

This is mostly applicable to the elders as teeth become weaker as we grow old.

The two types of dentures are:

Complete Dentures

Patient still have a choice for the complete dentures, the conventional or the immediate one.

Conventional complete denture is made after the teeth have been extracted. Usually it takes two to three months before the patient can wear it.

For those who doesn’t want to wait for that much time without a teeth, immediate complete denture is available.

After all the extraction, the denture will be applied. The production of dentures are made in advance, however, several adjustments will be necessary as the teeth and gums heal.

Partial Dentures

Partial dentures are utilized when at least one characteristic teeth stay in the upper or lower jaw. A fixed extension replaces at least one teeth by putting crowns on the teeth on either side of the space and connecting counterfeit teeth to them.
